Manipulated Polaroid Images
In the 1980s, manipulating Polaroid photos was a creative practice. The artist takes the Polaroid photo and, as soon as the image appears, manipulates the still soft emulsion using a pencil, spoon, finger, or any other object that can push the emulsion around without breaking the plastic seal. Eventually, the emulsion solidifies. The effect can be a painterly image. These are my experiments in this medium.
